  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; authorizing mental health 
  1.3             counseling for farm families; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING FOR FARM FAMILIES.] 
  1.6      Each fiscal year of the biennium beginning July 1, 2003, 
  1.7   the commissioner of human services shall transfer to the board 
  1.8   of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities the 
  1.9   general fund appropriation for mental health counseling support 
  1.10  to farm families and business operators to be provided through 
  1.11  the farm business management program at Central Lakes college 
  1.12  and Ridgewater college.  This appropriation is available until 
  1.13  June 30, 2005. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.15     $150,000 in fiscal year 2004 and $150,000 in fiscal year 
  1.16  2005 are appropriated to the commissioner of human services for 
  1.17  the purposes of section 1.
