  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of trade and economic development for joint efforts 
  1.9   with Ontario, Canada, to increase tourism in areas near the 
  1.10  northern border of Minnesota.
