A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating the bridge over U.S. Highway 52 in the city
of Coates as Corporal Benjamin S. Kopp Bridge; amending Minnesota Statutes
2016, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The bridge on County State-Aid
Highway 46, known as Brandel Drive within the city of Coates, over U.S. Highway 52 is
designated as "Corporal Benjamin S. Kopp Bridge." Subject to section 161.139, the
commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and erect appropriate signs.
