  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for 
  1.3             low-income concentration grants. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LOW-INCOME CONCENTRATION GRANTS.] 
  1.6      $2,625,000 in fiscal year 1998 and $2,625,000 in fiscal 
  1.7   year 1999 are appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of children, families, and learning for low-income 
  1.9   concentration grants under Laws 1994, chapter 647, article 8, 
  1.10  section 43.  Each grant shall be for no more than $75,000.
