A bill for an act
relating to energy; requiring Legislative Energy Commission to examine issue of
permanent storage of spent nuclear fuel produced by nuclear-powered electric
generating plants.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

The Legislative Energy Commission must examine the issue of permanent storage
of radioactive waste produced by nuclear-powered electric generating plants located in the
state. The examination must include a review of permanent storage strategies proposed
for use or used in other nations.
