relating to health; appropriating money to the commissioner of health for heart
disease and stroke prevention.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin HEART DISEASE AND STROKE PREVENTION.

$400,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2008 from the general fund to the
commissioner of health for the heart disease and stroke prevention unit of the Department
of Health to fund data collection and other activities to improve cardiovascular health and
reduce the burden of heart disease and stroke in Minnesota.
