relating to appropriations; appropriating money for
grants to organizations representing minority
populations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for grants
of $500,000 each to the Chicanos Latinos Unidos En Servicio
(CLUES), American Indian Family Center (AIFC), and Hmong
American Partnership (HAP) for renovations to their facilities
in St. Paul. This appropriation is available until expended.
