  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land in Ramsey county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; RAMSEY 
  1.6   COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding the public sale provisions of Minnesota 
  1.8   Statutes, chapter 282, Ramsey county shall convey to the city of 
  1.9   New Brighton for no consideration the tax-forfeited land that is 
  1.10  described in paragraph (c). 
  1.11     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.12  attorney general and provide that the land reverts to the state 
  1.13  if the city of New Brighton stops using the land for the public 
  1.14  purpose described in paragraph (d). 
  1.15     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Ramsey county, 
  1.16  consists of about 0.48 acres, and is described as that part 
  1.17  lying southerly of Long Lake Road of Lots 2 through 6, together 
  1.18  with all of Lot 7, Block 1.  West End Addition to Minneapolis 
  1.19  Stock Yards.  The street address for the property is 1760 Long 
  1.20  Lake Road. 
  1.21     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.22  the city of New Brighton for long-term stormwater retention 
  1.23  purposes.
