A bill for an act
relating to health; eliminating the statewide hospitality fee; appropriating money;
repealing Minnesota Statutes 2006, sections 157.15, subdivision 19; 157.16,
subdivision 3a.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS.

new text begin $....... is appropriated from the state government special revenue fund for fiscal years
2008 and 2009 to the commissioner of health in fiscal year 2008 and in fiscal year 2009 to
be used for statewide food, beverage, and lodging program development activities. For
fiscal year 2010 and thereafter, this appropriation shall be from the general fund.
