A bill for an act
relating to Ramsey County; appropriating money for summer employment for
at-risk youth.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$750,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from
the workforce development fund to Ramsey County for a summer youth employment
program that will place at-risk youth, ages 14 to 21, in subsidized summer employment.
The appropriation for fiscal year 2008 is available on May 1, 2007. The appropriation for
fiscal year 2009 is available May 1, 2008.
