  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; modifying the purpose of a 
  1.3             certain line item appropriation for an environmental 
  1.4             learning center.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PRAIRIE WETLANDS ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING 
  1.7   CENTER.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 84.0875, or any 
  1.9   other law to the contrary, the appropriation contained in Laws 
  1.10  1994, chapter 643, section 23, subdivision 28, clause (i), for a 
  1.11  grant to the city of Fergus Falls, may be used for planning, 
  1.12  design, and construction of a nonresidential day use facility.  
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
