relating to capital improvements; authorizing the sale and issuance of state
bonds; appropriating money for a veterans home in Montevideo.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

to the commissioner of administration to design, construct, furnish, and equip a veterans
home in Montevideo.

new text begin The commissioner of administration may accept
contributions of land or money from private individuals, businesses, local governments,
veterans service organizations, and other nonstate sources for the purpose of providing
matching funding when soliciting federal funding for the development of the home.

new text begin To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from the
state bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and
issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with
the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
