  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; directing commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to install traffic control signal in 
  1.4             city of Cold Spring; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL IN COLD SPRING.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [TRAFFIC LIGHT.] The commissioner of 
  1.8   transportation shall provide and install by August 1, 2003, a 
  1.9   traffic control signal, as described in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.10  section 169.06, subdivision 5, at the intersection of county 
  1.11  highway 140 and trunk highway marked No. 23 in the city of Cold 
  1.12  Spring. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] $....... is appropriated to the 
  1.14  commissioner of transportation from the trunk highway fund for 
  1.15  the purpose of subdivision 1.  This appropriation is available 
  1.16  until August 1, 2003. 
  1.17     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.18  following final enactment.
