  1.3             certain local residency requirements; repealing Laws 
  1.4             1993, chapter 260; and Laws 1994, chapter 570. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REPEAL OF LOCAL RESIDENCY AUTHORITY IN 
  1.7   MINNEAPOLIS AND SAINT PAUL.] 
  1.8      Laws 1993, chapter 260; and Laws 1994, chapter 570, are 
  1.9   repealed. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.11     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
