  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             Mesabi Station on the Mesabi Trail. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR MESABI STATION.] 
  1.6      $2,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the St. 
  1.7   Louis and Lake counties regional railroad authority to complete 
  1.8   construction of Mesabi Station along the 132-mile recreational 
  1.9   trail known as Mesabi Trail and located on Lake Mesabi at the 
  1.10  intersection of marked U.S. highways Nos. 53 and 169 and marked 
  1.11  trunk highway No. 135.  This appropriation is dependent upon a 
  1.12  matching contribution of $800,000 from other sources, public or 
  1.13  private.  This appropriation does not lapse but is available 
  1.14  until spent.
