  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to housing; exempting the publicly owned 
  1.3             transitional housing program from certain sale 
  1.4             restrictions placed upon projects financed by state 
  1.5             general obligation bond proceeds; amending Minnesota 
  1.6             Statutes 1994, section 462A.202, by adding a 
  1.7             subdivision. 
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 462A.202, is 
  1.10  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.11     Subd. 8.  [SALE RESTRICTIONS.] The application of net 
  1.12  proceeds of sale provisions in section 16A.695, subdivision 3, 
  1.13  clause (2), do not apply to the sale of projects financed under 
  1.14  the publicly owned transitional housing program. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     Section 1 applies to all projects financed or for which 
  1.17  financing is committed under the publicly owned transitional 
  1.18  housing program on or after July 1, 1990.
