  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; exempting certain farm labor 
  1.3             housing from regulation as manufactured home park; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 327.23, 
  1.5             subdivision 2. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 327.23, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 2.  [MANUFACTURED HOME PARK.] (a) The term 
  1.10  "manufactured home park" shall not be construed to include: 
  1.11     (1) manufactured homes, buildings, tents or other 
  1.12  structures temporarily maintained by any individual or company 
  1.13  on premises associated with a work project and used exclusively 
  1.14  to house labor or other personnel occupied in such work project; 
  1.15  or 
  1.16     (2) two or less manufactured homes maintained by an 
  1.17  individual or company on premises associated with an 
  1.18  agricultural operation and used exclusively to house labor or 
  1.19  other personnel engaged in the agricultural operation. 
  1.20     (b) The state department of health may by rule prescribe 
  1.21  such sanitary facilities as it may deem necessary to provide for 
  1.22  the sanitation of such structures and the safety of the 
  1.23  occupants thereof.
