  1.3             "residential roadway"; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.4             2000, section 169.01, subdivision 81.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 169.01, 
  1.7   subdivision 81, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 81.  [RESIDENTIAL ROADWAY.] Residential roadway means 
  1.9   a street or portion of a street that is less than 
  1.10  one-quarter one-half mile in length and is functionally 
  1.11  classified as a local street by the road authority having 
  1.12  jurisdiction.
