A bill for an act
relating to appropriations; appropriating funds for the construction of flood
protection farmstead ring levees in the Red River Valley.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. FLOOD PROTECTION FARMSTEAD RING LEVEES.
$650,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2008 and $650,000 is appropriated in fiscal
year 2009 from the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources to assist the Red
River Watershed Management Board in the construction of flood protection farmstead
ring levees in the Red River watershed.
