  1.6             2002, section 3.986, subdivision 4.  
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 3.986, 
  1.9   subdivision 4, is amended to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 4.  [POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.] A "political 
  1.11  subdivision" is a school district, county, or home rule charter 
  1.12  or statutory city. 
  1.13     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2003.
