Subdivision 1.

Creation of account.

infrastructure account is created in the bond proceeds fund. Money in the account may only
be used for capital costs of public infrastructure for eligible innovative business development
projects.

general fund. The account consists of funds as provided by law and any other money donated,
allotted, transferred, or otherwise provided to the account. Money in the account may only
be expended on a project receiving financial assistance as provided under this section.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 116J.435, subdivision 7, is amended to read:

Repayment of grant.

If an eligible project supported by public infrastructure
funded with a grant awarded under this section is not occupied by an innovative business
in accordance with the grant application under subdivision 4 within five years after the date
of the last grant payment, the grant recipient must repay the amount of the grant received.

A public library jurisdiction may apply

made only for projects in existing buildings used as a library, or to prepare another existing

public spaces to the ground level provides improved overall accessibility. Grants must not
be used to pay part of the cost of meeting accessibility requirements in a new building.

shall invite proposals from cities or counties or consortia of cities. A proposal for a skate
park must include matching contributions including in-kind contributions of land, access
roadways and access roadway improvements, and necessary utility services, landscaping,
and parking.
