A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Boys & Girls Clubs of the
Twin Cities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF THE TWIN CITIES.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin
Cities for planning, predesign, and design activities related to a new southside location in
the city of Minneapolis to expand critical out-of-school-time programs and function as the
administrative headquarters for the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities organization. This
appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject
to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
