relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Main Cinema in the
city of Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $3,500,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Film Society of Minneapolis
St. Paul to acquire real property for and to design, construct, furnish, and equip the expansion
of the Main Cinema on historic Main Street in Minneapolis. This is a onetime appropriation
and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
