A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for predesign of a boat launch
for the steamboat Minnehaha.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to
the Museum of Lake Minnetonka in the city of Excelsior to predesign a boat launch facility
for construction on publicly owned lakefront property on Lake Minnetonka to facilitate the
operation of the steamboat Minnehaha. This appropriation is onetime and is available until
the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
