A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvement and renovation
of a building for Isuroon in the city of Minneapolis.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin ISUROON BUILDING IMPROVEMENT AND RENOVATION;
APPROPRIATION.

$3,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Isuroon, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization, to renovate property located at 1600 Lake Street, South Minneapolis. This
appropriation is to predesign, design, construct, renovate, furnish, and equip the property
to carry out the mission of the organization to support immigrant women and provide mental
health counseling. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2024.
