A bill for an act
relating to child care; modifying eligibility requirements for grants to child care
providers; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2021 Supplement,
section 119B.195, subdivision 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2021 Supplement, section 119B.195, subdivision 4, is
amended to read:


Subd. 4.

Eligibility.

(a) To be eligible for a grant, an applicant must:

or higher, and have worked in the early childhood care and education field for at least six
months.

(b) Grant recipients must sign a contract agreeing to remain in the early childhood care
and education field for 12 months.

Sec. 2. new text begin APPROPRIATION; REETAIN GRANT PROGRAM.

human services for the REETAIN grant program under Minnesota Statutes, section 119B.195.
