A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for renovating the former
Winnebago Elementary School Building in Winnebago.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SCHOOL RENOVATION; WINNEBAGO.

new text begin $1,500,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2021 from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Winnebago to design,
renovate, furnish, and equip the former Winnebago Elementary School. This appropriation
does not require a nonstate match. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the
project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
