A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating the bridge over U.S. Highway 53 in the city
of Eveleth as Specialist Noah Pierce Bridge; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016,
section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The bridge on marked Trunk Highway 37
over marked U.S. Highway 53 in the city of Eveleth is designated as "Specialist Noah Pierce
Bridge." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark
this bridge and erect appropriate signs.
