A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for substance abuse recovery
services.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $450,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services to transfer to ServeMinnesota under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.37,
for purposes of providing evidenced-based substance abuse recovery services through
Minnesota Recovery Corps. The Minnesota Commission on National and Community
Service shall include in the commission's report to the legislature under Minnesota Statutes,
section 124D.385, subdivision 3, an evaluation of program data to determine the efficacy
of the substance abuse recovery services.
