relating to education finance; providing school technology and facilities aid to
school districts and charter schools; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin GENERATION CONNECT AID.

new text begin For fiscal year 2017 only, generation connect aid for a school district or charter
school equals $20 times the adjusted pupil units for the school year. Aid under this section
may be used for any allowable purpose under Minnesota Statutes, section 126C.10,
subdivision 14, or Minnesota Statutes, section 124E.20, subdivision 2.
