procurement assistance specialist; providing funding for a database for a grant

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; FEDERAL PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE
SPECIALIST.

new text begin Beginning in fiscal year 2007, $....... is appropriated annually from the general fund
to the Department of Employment and Economic Development for the purpose of creating
and maintaining one salaried position for a federal procurement assistance specialist based
out of Washington, D.C. The costs associated with the salaried position shall include a
base salary, travel, and other related expenses. This appropriation adds to the agency's
annual budget base.
