relating to education; providing for retirement service credit for certain school
employees.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SCHOOL EMPLOYEE SERVICE CREDIT FOR 2020-2022.

new text begin Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, an employee in a Minnesota school
district or charter school who is a member of the Public Employees Retirement Association,
the Teachers Retirement Association, or the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Association
must be credited with 24 months of allowable service credit for every 12 months of service
for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022.
