relating to economic development; appropriating money for the city of Birchwood
Village lift station bypass.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin LIFT STATION BYPASS; CITY OF BIRCHWOOD VILLAGE.

$421,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2021 from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Birchwood Village for
costs including but not limited to design, engineering, and road reconstruction related to
taking a failing lift station offline by building a gravity sewer pipe bypass into White Bear
Township.
