  1.2             relating to education; reducing the levy for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 2860, Blue Earth area. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ELMORE LEVY ADJUSTMENT.] 
  1.6      For property taxes payable in 1999 only, the levy for 
  1.7   independent school district No. 2860, Blue Earth area, must be 
  1.8   reduced by an amount equal to the amount levied by independent 
  1.9   school district No. 219, Elmore, according to Laws 1996, chapter 
  1.10  412, article 5, section 18, subdivision 2, for taxes payable in 
  1.11  1997.  The levy reduction must be applied against all taxable 
  1.12  property in preexisting independent school district No. 219, 
  1.13  Elmore, only.
