  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing for grants for the 
  1.3             farm wrap network and rural help network; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $300,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of agriculture for grants to organizations 
  1.9   participating in the farm wrap network and rural help network.  
  1.10  The grants may be used for outreach services, legal and 
  1.11  accounting services, informal mediation support, mental health 
  1.12  services, and emergency services for farmers.  This 
  1.13  appropriation is available until June 30, 2003.
