relating to education finance; authorizing a fund transfer for Independent School
District No. 276, Minnetonka.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.79, 123B.80, or 124D.20, subdivision
10, on June 30, 2018, Independent School District No. 276, Minnetonka, may permanently
transfer up to $2,400,000 from its community education reserve fund balance to its reserved
for operating capital account in the general fund. The transferred funds must be used only
to design, construct, furnish, and equip an early childhood classroom addition.
