  1.3             collaborative urban educator program; appropriating 
  1.4             money; amending Laws 1997, First Special Session 
  1.5             chapter 4, article 5, section 28, subdivision 9. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1997, First Special Session chapter 4, 
  1.8   article 5, section 28, subdivision 9, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 9.  [COLLABORATIVE URBAN EDUCATOR PROGRAMS.] For 
  1.10  grants to collaborative urban educator programs that prepare and 
  1.11  license people of color to teach: 
  1.12       $895,000     .....     1998
  1.13       $630,000     .....     1999 
  1.14     This appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
