  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to health; providing funding to two ICFs/MR 
  1.3             for costs related to field audit disallowances and 
  1.4             providing exemptions from the spend-up limit; 
  1.5             appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR ICF/MR DISALLOWANCES.] 
  1.8      $129,947 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of human services, for the fiscal year ending June 
  1.10  30, 1999, to be used for reimbursing a 12-bed ICF/MR in Stearns 
  1.11  county and a 12-bed ICF/MR in Sherburne county for disallowances 
  1.12  resulting from field audit findings.  The commissioner shall 
  1.13  exempt these facilities from the provisions of Minnesota 
  1.14  Statutes, section 256B.501, subdivision 5b, paragraph (d), 
  1.15  clause (6), for the rate years beginning October 1, 1997, and 
  1.16  October 1, 1998.
