  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ADDITION TO IRON RANGE OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE 
  1.7   RECREATION AREA.] 
  1.8      [85.013] [Subd. 12a.] [IRON RANGE OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE 
  1.9   RECREATION AREA, ST. LOUIS COUNTY.] The following areas are 
  1.10  added to the Iron Range off-highway vehicle recreation area, all 
  1.11  in Township 58 North, Range 17 West, St. Louis county: 
  1.12     (1) the West Half of the Northeast Quarter; and the West 
  1.13  Half of the Southeast Quarter in Section 14; and 
  1.14     (2) the West Half of the Northeast Quarter in Section 23, 
  1.15  lying north of the Mesabi Trail. 
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION EXTENSION.] 
  1.17     Notwithstanding Laws 1998, chapter 401, section 4, the 
  1.18  appropriations in Laws 1996, chapter 407, section 3, for the 
  1.19  Iron Range off-highway vehicle recreation area are available 
  1.20  until expended.
