  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             Minnesota learning resource center. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      Subdivision 1.  [COMMISSIONER OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND 
  1.7   LEARNING.] The following sum is appropriated from the general 
  1.8   fund to the commissioner of children, families, and learning in 
  1.9   the fiscal year designated. 
  1.10     Subd. 2.  [MINNESOTA LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER.] To 
  1.11  establish, renovate, and equip a Minnesota learning resource 
  1.12  center: 
  1.13       $.......    .....    1999 
  1.14     This appropriation shall be used by a nonprofit 
  1.15  organization that has developed neurophysiological models, 
  1.16  including Boost-Up, EEG neurofeedback, developmental optometry, 
  1.17  and auditory stimulation for assessing, treating, and teaching 
  1.18  children with learning problems to improve their attention 
  1.19  skills, classroom behavior, and academic performance, to acquire 
  1.20  the space and technology needed to establish and equip the 
  1.21  Minnesota learning resource center.
