  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; funding enrollment increases at 
  1.3             the Minnesota state colleges and universities; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the board 
  1.8   of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities for 
  1.9   fiscal years 2000 and 2001 for costs associated with increased 
  1.10  enrollment in fiscal years 2000 and 2001.  This appropriation is 
  1.11  added to the appropriation in Laws 1999, chapter 214, article 1, 
  1.12  section 3, subdivision 2.  
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
