A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; modifying snowmobile training provisions;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 84.862, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 84.862, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A person found in violation of this section shall have 30 days
to either prove that they have taken the snowmobile safety training or take the required
snowmobile safety training. After 30 days, a person found in violation of this section who
has failed to either prove that they have taken the training or take the training shall be in
violation of this section and subject to any applicable penalties.
