BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; IDENTITY THEFT AND FINANCIAL CRIMES
PROSECUTION ACCOUNT.

$....... is appropriated from the general fund to the attorney general for the
investigation, prosecution, and remediation of identity theft and financial crimes. This
appropriation is available for the biennium ending June 30, 2007. This amount shall
become part of the base.
