  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for the construction of a 
  1.4             municipal water park in the city of Hastings. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HASTINGS MUNICIPAL WATER PARK.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $750,000 is appropriated 
  1.8   from the bond proceeds fund to the city of Hastings for the 
  1.9   construction of a municipal water park.  This appropriation must 
  1.10  be matched by at least $750,000 of local and nonstate money.  
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.12  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.13  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.14  of the state in an amount up to $750,000 in the manner, upon the 
  1.15  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.16  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.17  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
