  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing funding for the 
  1.3             continuation of a pseudorabies control program; 
  1.4             appropriating money.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; PSEUDORABIES MONITORING AND 
  1.7   TESTING.] 
  1.8      $245,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the board 
  1.9   of animal health for continued efforts to control pseudorabies 
  1.10  in swine.  This appropriation may be used to cover the costs of 
  1.11  pseudorabies monitoring, blood tests, and laboratory fees.  This 
  1.12  appropriation is available until June 30, 2001. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
