A bill for an act
relating to Open Meeting Law; requiring audio recordings of all meetings; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13D.01, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13D.01, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

Except as otherwise provided for closed meetings,
a public body must make an audio or audiovisual recording of every meeting and preserve
the recording for at least three years.
