relating to waters; appropriating money for remediation of Thompson Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin THOMPSON LAKE REMEDIATION.

new text begin $750,000 is appropriated from the clean water fund to the commissioner of the
Pollution Control Agency for a grant to Dakota County to implement the remediation
plan for Thompson Lake prepared by the city of West St. Paul. The county shall
collaborate with the city of West St. Paul, the local soil and water conservation district,
and other interested parties to implement the plan, including monitoring for environmental
contaminants and assessing water quality.
