  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Ramsey county; providing for retention by 
  1.3             the county of the entire county conservation fee 
  1.4             collected under Minnesota Statutes, section 40A.152. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [RETENTION OF COUNTY CONSERVATION FEE.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 40A.152, all of 
  1.8   the fees collected by Ramsey county under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.9   section 40A.152, must be deposited in the special revenue 
  1.10  account in the county general fund and none of the fees may be 
  1.11  transferred to the commissioner of revenue for deposit in the 
  1.12  state treasury. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [NO LOCAL APPROVAL; EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Minnesota Statutes, section 645.023, subdivision 1, 
  1.15  paragraph (a), applies so section 1 does not require local 
  1.16  approval.  Section 1 is effective July 1, 2000.
