  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the public sale 
  1.3             of certain tax-forfeited land that borders public 
  1.4             water in Douglas county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; DOUGLAS COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.8   282.018, subdivision 1, Douglas county may sell the 
  1.9   tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.10  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.11  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general.  Consideration shall be for not less than the 
  1.14  appraised value as determined by the Douglas county board. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Douglas county and is 
  1.16  described as: 
  1.17     Lot 43, block 1, Christinas Moon Lake Heights, section 28, 
  1.18     Township 129 North, Range 39 West. 
  1.19     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.20  management interests would best be served if the land was 
  1.21  returned to private ownership.
