BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CRISIS FACILITY
GRANTS.

$30,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $30,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of human services for behavioral health crisis
facility grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 245G.011. The commissioner must provide
grants to fund at least six and up to ten eligible projects. These are onetime appropriations.
